If you are visiting Côte d’Ivoire, your passport should be valid for a minimum period of six months from the date you arrive into Côte d’Ivoire. Based on the immigration laws of the West African nation, any visitors coming to the country must obtain a visa first; otherwise, they will not be allowed entry. Categories of Entry Visas/Permits to Ivory Coast:
Tourist e-visa
  • A special visa for short-term tourists coming to Ivory Coast. This e-visa is a multiple-entry visa, meaning you can use it to enter the country several times. The visa is valid for 90 days, but you can only stay for 30 days.

Business e-visa
  • Business persons, consultants, entrepreneurs, and guests for business events use this e-visa if they come to the Ivory Coast for business-related engagements. Valid for 90 days, and holders can stay within their territorial borders for up to 30 days.

Dependant Visa
  • Spouses and children can accompany the primary visa holder. Life partners are eligible for a dependent visa. A certificate of care (Attestation de Prise en Charge) is required for residence approval.

Health and Social Affairs Visas
  • For those from visa-exempt countries and countries that aren’t part of the ECOWAS zone. The purpose of the visit must be medical or social. The Valid for up to three months and are renewable

Study or Research Visas
  • A study or research visa is issued to students, researchers, and professionals entering the Ivory Coast for education purposes.
Requirements for Entry Visas/Permits to Ivory Coast:

The visas and permits have different requirements regarding forms and documents. There are some general requirements, but there are also visa-specific forms.

  1. Passport: Your passport must be machine readable and also must. be valid for the next six months and have at least one blank visa page.
  2. Photographs: You must provide one color, passport-type photograph taken within the last three months and printed on high-quality photo paper
  3. Business Cover Letter: All letters must be printed on official company letterhead
  4. Letter of Invitation: You must provide a letter of invitation from the organization or entity that you are visiting.
  5. Proof of Travel Arrangements: You must provide proof of travel arrangements for the duration of your trip. Include a copy of an itinerary or e-ticket that displays your round trip travel and entry and exit dates for your destination
  6. Vaccination Certificate: You must provide a copy of your Yellow Fever vaccination certificate.
  7. Documents Required for Minors & Parental Consent: Applicants twenty and younger traveling without parents must submit a notarized parental authorization form from both parents.
  8. Hotel Confirmation: You must provide a confirmation of your hotel accommodations.
