Every foreign national who wishes to enter Guinea would need a Visa, except for visa waiver countries. The Guinean Government issues Eight (8) types of visas to foreign nationals. You can apply for all the visa options using a fast and secure platform.

The Guinean Government issues Eight (8) types of visas to foreign nationals:
Single Entry Visa (VCS)
  • This is issued to foreign nationals who declares their wish to enter Guinea for a period not exceeding ninety days (< 90 days).

Long Term Visa (VLS)
  • This visa is only issued to any foreign national staying in Guinea after the expiration of a period of three months from their
    entry into national territory. It is granted to foreign nationals wishing to settle in Guinea. Its validity is 1 year from the date of issuance.

Multiple Entry Visa (VESRM)
  • Foreign nationals from special treaty countries are eligible to apply for the Multiple Entry Visa (VESRM).
    Its validity varies between 3 to 5 years and depends on the bilateral commitment between Republic of Guinea and the treaty countries.

Visa Prorogation (VP)
  • Prorogation Visa (VP) is extended to foreign nationals based on the previous/existing visa type the person was granted for.

Visa de Transbordement (VTB)
  • Its validity varies between 3 to 5 days, beyond which the person should obtain a short-stay visa. Issued to foreigners who are simply transiting in the territory of Guinea. It is issued for a maximum of three days.

Service Visa (VS)
  • The issuance of a Service Visa (VS) is under the jurisdiction of approval officer.

Diplomatic Visa (VD)
  • This kind of permit is issued for the travellers who are visiting Guinea as representatives of the country.
    Generally, the issuance of this permit deals with the approval officer appointed at the embassy.

Courtesy Visa (VC)
  • Even this type of permit is issued for official visits. It is issued for the holders of official passport holders.
    This visit needs to be authorised by the government.
Requirements for Entry Visas/Permits to Guinea:
  1. Passport: Your passport must be machine readable and also must. be valid for the next six months and have at least one blank visa page.
  2. Fully completed Two(2) Visa Application Form – must be completed in black ink and block letters. The applicant must sign the application form, and the signature should match the signature on the passport.
  3. Two recent passport size photographs with 80% face coverage, white background, and without border (Size: 35mm x 45mm).
  4. Yellow Fever Vaccination Card / Certificate (Original & a copy).
  5. Return Air Ticket & Accommodation Booking.
  1. Passport: Your passport must be machine readable and also must. be valid for the next six months and have at least one blank visa page.
  2. Fully completed Two(2) Visa Application Form – must be completed in black ink and block letters. The applicant must sign the application form, and the signature should match the signature on the passport.

  2. or an authorization to practice a liberal profession or to promote an agricultural, industrial, commercial, artistic or other activity, issued by the competent authorities, if such an authorization is required;
  3. or a deed evidencing a marital relationship, for a spouse, or a parental relationship for minor children;
  4. or a certificate of registration or reregistration issued by an institution’s authorities, for students;
  5. or an internship agreement, for interns.
